But while you're waiting here's some pippin skits and quotes:

 

(After stealing from farmer maggot's crops and bumping into frodo and samwise in the cornfield and are now running away)

Merry: I don't see why he's so upset.......it's only a couple of carrots

Pippin: And some cabbages

Pippin: And those three bags of potatoes we lifted last week

Pippin: And the mushrooms the week before

Merry: Yes PIPPIN but my point is that he's clearly overreacting

(All stop at the edge of a cliff, sam knocks into them all and they tumble down the grassy cliffside and land one on top of the other at the bottom)

Merry: I think I've broken something (pulls out carrot that is snapped in half)

Sam: Trusting a brandybuck and a took!

Merry: What?

Merry: That was just a detour, a shortcut

Sam: A shortcut to what!?

Pippin: (at the bottom of the pile) MUSHROOMS! (mushrooms are laying near the group)

(pippin goes to get up but merry pushes him back to the ground , then sam, then they all grab the mushrooms)

(sam, frodo, merry, pippin, and aragorn after just eating breakfast on a snowy mountainy area)

Aragorn: We don't stop 'till nightfall

Pippin: What about breakfast?

Aragorn: You've already had it

Pippin: We've had one, yes, but what about second breakfast?

(aragorn walks behind a tree on the path)

Merry: I don't think he knows about second breakfast, pip

Pippin: (worried) Well what about elevensies?, luncheon?, afternoon tea?, dinner?, supper?...........He knows about them, doesn't he?

Merry: I wouldn't count on it

(aragorn throws an apple from behind the tree)

(merry catches the apple, hands it to pippin and pats him on the back)

(merry walks away and another apple flies over the tree and hits pippin's head, pippin looks up in a wondering manner)

Merry: PIPPIN

(they all move on and walk away)

(at the council of elrond in rivendell after it has been decided that frodo will venture to mordor to destroy the ring and that Gandalf, Aragorn, Boromir, Legolas, Gimli, and sam will go with him)

(merry and pippin were hiding)

Merry: We're coming too!

Merry: And you'll have to send us home tied up in a sack to stop us!

Pippin: Anyway....you need people of intelligence on this sort of Mission............Quest..........Thing

Merry: Well that rules you out, pip

(then it is decided that all these people will be the fellowship of the ring)
